The undefeated boxer retired in August after defeating McGregor and has previously shot down rumors he was interested, but White said he has a meeting with Mayweather's team about a potential fight.

"Don't count anything out on Floyd Mayweather coming over to the UFC".

White recently appeared on "Undisputed" on FS1 and told Skip and Shannon not to rule out a Mayweather fight in 2018.

During the build-up to the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight Mayweather teased several times that he'd fight in the UFC next, and the Irishman welcomed that opportunity with open arms.

At this time, White said there is no update on his next move.

"Exactly what I said is this: If I could make over a billion dollars before, I could do it again", Mayweather said.

- I actually have a meeting- I have a meeting with those guys, today. The Irish champ, who reportedly banked more than $100 million for "The Money Fight", has said he wants an ownership stake in the UFC, which White won't entertain.

Libya pipeline blast to cause drop in production: National Oil Company
OPEC, plus Russian Federation and other non-members, have been withholding output since January 1 to get rid of an oversupply. The pipeline is being tested after repairs and full flows should resume in early January, its operator said on Monday.

White was wearing Zuffa Boxing shirts on the press tour for the McGregor and Mayweather showdown and conducted numerous interviews regarding his intention to have the UFC and their parent company branch out to boxing.

"For people to suggest that, you're just a Conor hater", White told ESPN.

It should be interesting to see how successful White can be as a boxing promoter after all the success he has had in the MMA world.

White claims that a meeting is taking place with Mayweather's team to discuss the idea of working with the UFC in some capacity, although it's not clear what the meeting will be about. We don't know if that's ever going to happen, though.

McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC), the No. 1 ranked fighter in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA lightweight rankings and No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter, has yet to defend the lightweight title he won in November 2016.
