'New Year's Rocking Eve 2018' to Feature Mariah Carey, BTS and More

One fan took issue with Mariah Carey being called legendary and the omission of the word when ABC described Britney. Carey says technical difficulties plagued last year's performance, but she's back for a second chance at ringing in yet another New Year - this time on a high note.

The latest New Year's Eve celebration will also feature pop singer Nick Jonas and the former Fifth Harmony vocalist Camila Cabello, whose debut solo album is one of the most anticipated releases of early 2018.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018" kicks off on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT on December 31. Telling the revellers jammed into Times Square that there had not been a sound check for her hit song Emotions, she lamented that "we're missing some of these vocals, but it is what it is".
