"Now, hopefully the Boston Celtics will do that for me".

Whether or not Thomas's tribute video will play on Pierce's jersey retirement night remains to be seen.

Prior to the Celtics' win over Cleveland Wednesday, Thomas spoke of the controversy that has arisen in the wake of his request to skip the video on a night when he wouldn't be playing and play it on the 11th. Although he asked for no tribute to be played during that game, he did receive an extended standing ovation from the Boston fans when he was shown on the scoreboard monitors between the first and second quarters.

The organization earmarked this occasion as the night to send their legend's number 34 to the rafters and pay tribute to his achievements in the green uniform.

Leigh Corfman Files Suit Against Roy Moore
The lawsuit outlines 11 instances in which Moore publicly denied Corfman's allegations or denied knowing her altogether. Corfman said she later arranged to meet Moore and that he took her to his home and initiated the encounter.

Thomas echoed Ainge's sentiment, saying his little video package won't make the entire night, which deservedly belongs to Pierce. Like, I just wanted my family to be here to see it. I wanted to be able to play. When my representatives reached out to these guys, they were all for it, and they agreed on it. They agreed and rescheduled for February 12.

Danny Ainge confirmed on 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich Thursday morning that the Celtics will air their Isaiah Thomas tribute video on February 11 - the same day as Paul Pierce's jersey retirement ceremony. I don't know why people are so mad about it.

Pierce was drafted 10th overall in the 1998 NBA Draft and spent 15 seasons with the Celtics. This despite Paul Pierce's jersey retirement ceremony set to be held on the same night. If they choose to do it that night, that would be great. That said, the Celtics weren't going to let the All-Star point guard return to the TD Garden without showing him some love. "And my family and friends can see how much they appreciated me here".
