Unlike the black model, however, it will only be available on the high-end trim with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

OnePlus has an interesting history when it comes to phone colors and finishes.

OnePlus has announced today that it's bringing a brand new colour scheme to the OnePlus 5T. OnePlus has previously released two other special variants of the OnePlus 5T - the Star Wars edition and the Lava Red edition. It launched in India, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden in Sandstone White, but didn't come to the USA, U.K., and other global markets right away, which left some Sandstone fans disappointed.

In essence then, this is the same look as the limited Star Wars edition that launched exclusively in India last month, except without the official Star Wars logo stamped on the back. Called Sandstone White, it combines the texture from the classic Sandstone Black phone finishes with the brilliant white colour of the limited Silk White OnePlus One from four years ago. I do wish that the volume rocker, power button, and SIM tray were also red or white, but they are the same black as the standard model.

Tesla Model 3 Deliveries Falter
It'll take Tesla another three months to double that number. "They don't have a ton of wiggle room though in our view", Spak said. Beyond the Model 3, Tesla's overall vehicle deliveries were on target for the fourth quarter and the year as a whole.

Performance-wise, the Sandstone White 5T is exactly the same as the black model, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, dual 16- and 20-megapixel rear camera, 6.01-inch 18:9 OLED display, and 3,300mAh battery with OnePlus' Dash Charge fast charging system.

OnePlus detailed the construction process in a press release ahead of Thursday's announcement.

It should be noted that it's impossible to make white anodized aluminum. This second layer helps ensure the white colouring is truly opaque, completely covering the metal material. In the fourth and final stage, the company uses an ultraviolet (UV) layer to refine the texture of the device and ensure hardness and durability.
