Sources are saying that Reliance Jio will cut the prices of its plans with 1GB data per day by up to Rs. 60 as part of a new Happy New Year 2018 offer.

On a recharge of Rs 448, the users will get 126 GB data for a validity of 84 days.

The Rs 399 plan will get a boost in validity, the plan that used to offer 1GB data for 70 days will now provide 84GB data for 84 days.

The Rs 349 plan will now offer benefits of what the Rs 399 plan did earlier.

The telecom provider also updated its Rs709 plan, which now will provide 3.5GB 4G data per day. After the rollout of VoLTE services, Vodafone may offer unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit, like Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. Under this offer, customers will get 91 GB of 4G data with a daily cap of 1GB data.

Russian Federation criticises United States decision to call UN meeting on Iranian protests
She called on all of her other colleagues in the Security Council to join her in amplifying the message of the Iranian people. Earlier in the week, the USA government announced it was suspending security assistance to the country.

Airtel's Rs 509 plan was initially launched with a validity of 84 days and it offers 1GB data per day.

The company announced that the users will get 50 per cent more data per month on the same prices as earlier. Following convention, these revised plans will have a ripple effect on the other telecom operators in the country. Now, the brand has extended the validity and it comes with a validity of 91 days.

Jio's Rs. 499 prepaid plan will be available at Rs. 459 after getting a price cut of Rs. 50.

Airtel also revised its Rs 799 prepaid plan last week.

Airtel has made a decision to also provide unlimited calling facility to its users but with "terms and conditions"; voice calls limited to 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. User gets 42GB data for 28 days. These include the Rs 198 scheme which has increased its data promise from 28GB to 42GB, a 14GB boost. One of the biggest changes in the data plan is making the lower plans much more beneficial and value for money. It will now compete against Airtel's Rs 509 plan which also offers same amount of data.
