Sports journalist who feared she was being followed reported missing

Sports reporter Courtney Roland has been found in Texas - and is now being hospitalized after being reported missing early Sunday morning. Her purse with an iPad, computer and credit cards were also all found intact somewhere inside the Galleria.

A United States journalist who has been missing since Saturday was anxious "she was being followed by a blue truck", according to social media.

The roommate was supposed to meet up with Roland but she never showed up, the station reported.

In a press conference, Houston Police said missing journalist, Courtney Roland's medicine caused her to become confused and disoriented The 29-year-old suffered memory loss and is continuing to be evaluated at the hospital.

This is a developing story. CrimeOnline will provide an update when more information is available. Her vehicle was found, with her phone and belongings inside it, near the mall overnight. She was last confirmed seen 1/6/18 at 4 pm leaving football camp in Houston.

Out of solidarity with the victims of sexual harassment and assault, many women have said they will be dressing in black. Mark Ruffalo tweeted Sunday that he wore black "in solidarity with the men and women asking for respect and equality".

Her Jeep later was found with her phone and other personal items inside. Anyone who has seen her since that time is encouraged to call our Missing Persons Unit 713-394-1840.

"The roommate said he [the suspicious man] followed Roland to her home in a blue truck as she was parked in the driveway".

"If somebody has her, we just want to tell them we love you too", Courtney Roland's father, Steve Roland, told KHOU. "Prayers out to her family during this hard time".

She has reportedly been on high alert since the incident.
