Dustin Johnson is pretty good at golf, and if you have been untethered from your computing devices for the past few days and need convincing, his near hole-in-one on the 433-yard par-4 12th hole Sunday at the Sentry Tournament of Champions ought to do the trick.

Jon Rahm made his Kapalua debut by closing with a 69 to finish second.

Australian Marc Leishman, who was the joint leader at the halfway stage but carded a 76 on Saturday, finished tied for seventh on 13 under, while Jordan Spieth was a shot behind and finished ninth.

He lost a six-shot lead in the final round of the HSBC Champions in Shanghai last fall, his most recent PGA Tour start. "I kind of just kept the pedal down".

As for the author of Chamblee's greatest hit, the 17-time tour victor was not almost so impressed with his prowess, joking as he walked to the green that he "hit it a little thin" and "came up a little short".

"I knew I was playing well and it's a golf course that I'm really confident on", Johnson said.

In Maui this week he had extended his lead to four shots after just three holes on Sunday.

"I want a lot more wins".

Johnson claims he'd forgotten all about China until media reminded him of it. "First I want to get to 20, then 30 and once there 40", he added.

"It's no easy task, " said Rahm, who lost to Johnson in the final of Match Play a year ago. "Hopefully I can keep playing good and maybe someday be No.1".

Johnson joined Stuart Appleby (three times) and Geoff Ogilvy (twice) as the only multiple winners at Kapalua.

Japan's Hideki Matsuyama and Americans Rickie Fowler and Pat Perez were another shot back at 14-under. "I wish I could say the same about my driver and putter". He was consistent and impressive through all four rounds, shooting 69-68-66-65-268.
