In Maui this week he had extended his lead to four shots after just three holes on Sunday. "I want a lot more wins". Johnson joined Stuart Appleby (three times) and Geoff Ogilvy (twice) as the only multiple winners at Kapalua.

Bezos was awarded the title of world's richest individual back in July, narrowly edging out Bill Gates for the honour. As of Tuesday morning, Gates' net worth, according to Bloomberg, is around $93.3 billion, with Warren Buffett coming in third at $87.2 billion.

Bezos also controls closely held space exploration business Blue Origin and The Washington Post. Forbes also put Bezos at the head of the uber-rich class, but cited his net worth at $104.4 billion. He passed the $100-billion mark in November, and continued to rise after a record-setting holiday season. Adjusted for inflation, that would be $148 billion today.

Gates net worth would have been far more if he had not given out nearly 700 million shares of Microsoft, worth $61.8 billion at today's value, as well as $2.9 billion in cash to charity since 1996.
