Harvey Weinstein Gets Slapped Twice at Arizona Restaurant

After the attack and before he and his friend left the restaurant, he yelled at Weinstein, calling him a "piece of s*** for what you did to these women".

Steve, who admits he had "quite a bit to drink", told U.S. website TMZ the former Miramax boss rudely rejected the photo request.

Harvey Weinstein was accosted by a man at a resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Tuesday, according to video obtained by TMZ.

The man, who identified himself to TMZ as Steve, claimed he spotted Weinstein with his sober coach at Elements restaurant in the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort in Scottsdale. He slapped Harvey Weinstein right in the face. However, the manager reportedly told the tabloid that Weinstein politely declined and the pair shook hands before Steve went back to his table.

Weinstein was in Arizona as part of his rehab programme after close to 100 women came forward and accused him of having either sexually harassing, sexually assaulting and in certain cases, raping them. The manager said Weinstein was "sweet" about saying no, and that Steve appeared to be drunk when he approached Weinstein again later that evening. "Therefore, we are unable to provide a comment", a resort rep said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

Her purse with an iPad, computer and credit cards were also all found intact somewhere inside the Galleria. The roommate was supposed to meet up with Roland but she never showed up, the station reported.

Steve wasn't clear on what exactly motivated him to go after Weinstein.

As for Steve, well, Weinstein declined to call the police, because if you're Harvey Weinstein pretty much the last thing you want is the police knowing where you are.

Steve said to the organization that he "punched" Weinstein in the face a couple of times and he then fell backward.
