Paige VanZant showed off her toughness in her fight with Jessica-Rose Clark in the co-main event of UFC St. Louis (Fight Night 124) on Sunday night at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on FOX Sports 1. Meanwhile, Clark is now riding a three-fight win streak including two impressive victories inside the UFC. She was clearly the superior striker in the round and landed significantly more than Clark, but it was not enough as she won the round, but not the fight.

"PVZ" went on to drop a unanimous decision to Clark, with the judges turning in scorecards of 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28 in favour of the Aussie.

Say what you want about Paige VanZant, but she doesn't have any quit in her. Ouch! The injury happened during the first round of the fight, and Paige informed her team following the second round.

The recovery time for the 23-year-old MMA fighter has not been confirmed, but she's definitely made it clear that she plans on making a comeback at some point.

Offred on the run as 'Handmaid's Tale' returns
The casting news was announced Sunday by series creator Bruce Miller at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour. Though details on Tomei's character are being kept under wraps, the episode she appears in will be set in the Colonies.

VanZant, who now fights in the 125-pound weight class, once competed in the 115-pound class, which required dramatic cuts. "I was so exhausted; I couldn't move my arms and I couldn't move my body, so I feel so much better now". This round took place entirely on the feet, with most of the work coming from Van Zant throwing an array of kicks from range in an effort to get the finish she needed to win this fight. "I'll be back better and stronger than ever!"

She added: "it's all apart of the fight game".

And it's a potential legacy that excites her: "Being one of the first ones from my home country to really make it, like I think there's only 5 or 6 of us fighting internationally now, but still only a handful, it's good, it's great to be a part of that".
