Asus ZenFone 5 Is Basically A Cheap iPhone X Running On Android

So we'll only mention the Zenfone 5 except in cases where the Zenfone 5Z has a different specification.

However, it's unclear why the "notch" is present, as although the Zenfone 5 and 5Z have a Face Unlock option, this is by no means as advanced as the Face ID system on the iPhone X. So much so, that Asus has included a fingerprint sensor as back up. They delivered their new ZenFone 5 line, which includes three phones, two of which are unapologetic iPhone X clones. ZenFone Max has a 5.5-inch full-view display and a huge 4000mAh battery. But both the phones are quite impressive on their own, and we are going to compare them in order to prep you before they hit the market in a few months.

Asus ZenFone 5Z is company's Flagship smartphone for this year which has got a series of extraordinary features.

With a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, the 5Z is indeed distinctive, although its sibling, the ZenFone 5, offers the exact same display. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE) and Adreno 630 GPU. There's a second version of the Zenfone 5 lite with a Snapdragon 430, too. Jokes aside, it looks like we'll have to get used to this oft-mocked design direction, which Huawei is also widely expected to adopt starting next month. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage Memory and 4GB RAM with 64GB of Internal Storage Memory. The storage is fixed at 32GB/64GB and it is expandable via microSD card slot, it comes with a dedicated microSD card slot other than the dual SIM slots.

The rear camera will be a dual camera setup with a 12MP f/1.8 main lens and a 12MP 120 degree wide angled lens as the secondary lens. The smartphone has sharp shots courtesy 3-axis sensor. The smartphones include the same design, display size, cameras both front and back and battery set up. So basically, a Zenfone 5Z with SD636. It comes with the octa-core Snapdragon 636 instead of the flagship 845. Yeah, it's not all that exciting, but it still sits as a cheaper alternative to the ZenFone 5 and 5Z.

The phone is completely made out of glass except for the sides which are covered with stainless steel, and the result is stunning. Meanwhile, there is a dual-real camera setup with a primary 12MP Zeiss lens and secondary 13MP telephoto for 2x optical zoom.

The Zenfone 5 Lite has two cameras up front and two around back.

During my brief use of the phones, they felt well-built and looked just as good as any other premium phone. The display is a 5.5 inch 18:9 aspect ratio HD display with an 83% screen-to-body ratio. It is also likely to run a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC under the hood. There is only one Storage variant available on the ZenFone 5 smartphone.

This phone uses a quad-cam setup with two front-facing sensors and two rear-facing selfie shooters. The secondary camera is of 8-megapixel also with auto-focus. On the front, there is a 20MP sensor coupled with a wide angle lens as well. It runs Android Nougat-based ZenUI 4.0. The phone also supports Hi-Res Audio files encoded at up to 24-bit/192KHz sample rate.

Asus didn't say anything about battery life, but did note that all three Zenfone varieties have a 3300-mAh battery.

This is real AI since the phone is using machine learning to not only identify pictures, but to make the adjustments according to your preferences and what makes the photo look best.
