Samsung has improved its face unlock feature with a new intelligent scan technology that combines face recognition and iris scan so you can even unlock your Galaxy S9 in low light. After going through DxO's tests, the site revealed that the Galaxy S9+ has received an overall score of 99, beating out the Pixel by 1 point. You would have already expected the handset to feature an Infinity Display given that Samsung has stuck with it for the Galaxy S9 as well.

So there you have it: The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a better OLED display than Apple's more-expensive iPhone X. And did I say the Galaxy S9 is cheaper?

The Exynos 9810 - which will power most of the Samsung Galaxy S9 units available in the global market - is made under Samsung's 10-nanometer FinFET process, and should show close to double the performance of its predecessor, the Exynos 8895. DxOMark is a great indicator of what to expect from a mobile camera, but real-life testing is what really determines who has the best mobile camera. The camera also gets Dual-pixel PDAF on the main camera module. DxOMark hasn't, to my knowledge, tested the single camera system in the normal S9. Along with the unbelievable Photo score, the Galaxy S9+ also scored an outstanding 91 points on the Video score! With the second camera, there's a 2x optical zoom. While the phone had scored a record-setting 104 in the photos test, it scored 91 in the videography test, with scope for further improvements.

"Samsung conducted analysis on society needs which resulted in the features on both smartphones including Super Slow-mo, Low Light camera, and AR Emoji", said Annisa in Samsung Galaxy International Experience Store, South Jakarta, February 26. Although there's still time for the launch of the device, Samsung is working hard on the same especially because of the horror it faced with Galaxy Note 7...

The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are iterative updates to last year's Galaxy S8 models and they come with the latest hardware enhancements.
