Top 10 NFL Free Agents On The Market

"There is no way I would be where I am today without the leadership of the Redskins organization".

And make no mistake - if the Broncos sign Keenum to a short-term deal, they would nearly be forced into taking a quarterback with the fifth overall pick.

Amid the endless speculation about Cousins, there have been a few recent articles that attempt to place a financial value on the former Washington QB (or any team's quarterback) in relation to his team's available salary cap space.

The biggest free agent fish in the sea, quarterback Kirk Cousins, is expected to sign with the Minnesota Vikings. But with Cousins still unproven - and with some wondering if Griffin would somehow reclaim the job, the Redskins weren't ready to do business. And on his side of the equation, what are Kirk Cousins' priorities when determining his next team? If he truly wants to win now the Vikings are the better of the two choices. Still, we have known for days that the Vikings would be in the Cousins race. Having said this, I would not trade the past decade for anything. What's up with that?

Postal Service confirmed that its carriers had not delivered the package in Monday's explosion. "We will respond", Manley said. Manley strongly urged residents to be on the lookout for suspicious packages and to alert authorities immediately.

Then, yesterday, as pointed out locally by 104.3 The Fan's Zak Bye, Cousin penned a goodbye blog to Washington fans that tagged the Jets and the Vikings, but not the Broncos. Now, after two franchise tags, Kirk Cousins will be looking to cash in in free agency and has become a case study. At this point the Saints don't appear eager to add any more to that figure. However, according to Bleacher Report's Matt Miller, Cousins has already narrowed his decision down to just two teams, the Vikings and the Jets. Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Vikings did that on Monday - and they weren't only team to do so. Even if they get Cousins, a veteran backup is needed.

It is not certain yet what sort of contract that Keenum, who made $2 million last season, will get. It's hard to imagine Cousins wanting to do so, either.

The reported deal could also make Cousins the first quarterback to receive a fully-guaranteed contract, possibly setting the precedent for similar extensions for quarterbacks like Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and Atlanta's Matt Ryan in the coming months.

"If a team doesn't have a quarterback, they don't really have anything", Chubb said. The Big Four would have a chance to eventually develop into a franchise-type quarterback but it's hard for any team to reach the playoffs with a rookie quarterback. Oh, and my personal (least) favorite headline, "Vikings prepared to offer Cousins monster deal".
