Villanova Is the Duke of Winning

DiVincenzo who is nicknamed 'The Big Ragu' broke quite a few records as he helped Villanova clinch the 2018 NCAA Championship.

There were a handful of other problems as raucous fans took to the streets after the big win.

Villanova coach Jay Wright gave his stars one last curtain call. "He had a clear head and he did whatever we needed all year". We got better defensively tonight.

Villanova guard Donte DiVincenzo may be riding high from his team's Monday night win, but some people on Twitter dug through some of his old tweets, which could slow down that hype train. He scored 16 and was the main reason why the Wildcats were able to erase an early seven-point deficit against a MI defense that was one of the stingiest in the nation.

Things looked good early on for MI as they jumped out to a 21-14 lead midway through the first half. Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt cheered 11th-seeded Loyola-Chicago all the way to a spot in the Final Four. "Maybe we could get a dome built on campus, too". Sure, the thought of an opportunity to go after winning a NBA championship along with a hefty pay raise after winning two national championships at the college level may seem tough to turn down, but also Wright understands how great of a thing he now has going at Villanova.

It did not matter that national player of the year Brunson struggled most the night, going just 4-of-13 and scoring nine points.

MI had answers for five of Villanova's top players, but not its sixth: Donte DiVincenzo, who came off the bench to score 31 points. "I was just trying to be aggressive". "I just kind of found myself in a rhythm".

His season cut short because of a knee injury, he was healthy enough to run the scout squad for Villanova during its first title run.

The redshirt sophomore from DE broke his foot early in his freshman season and was limited to eight games and a medical redshirt. "I would love to win a national championship for those guys, and for the University of MI, all those great students and all our alumni".

Van Dijk: Mo Salah can hurt any team
Nobody feels better than each other, everybody is working hard for each other to get the win. Just seconds after making the claim, the 25-year-old scored the victor in the Reds' 2-1 win.

"We needed to play better", Wolverines coach John Beilein said, "but even if we had played at our best, it would have been very hard to win with what DiVincenzo (was doing)".

Slater's high school career ended on a high note, scoring 13 points in Paul VI's 58-40 win over Bishop O'Connell to claim the Panthers' fourth VISAA championship.

On the court after the game, Kris Jenkins, who made the game-winning shot in 2016 against North Carolina, put his arm around Ryan Arcidiacono, the guy who flipped him the ball, and explained how older generations set the stage for newer ones.

Everyone knows about potential NBA Draft lottery pick Mikal Bridges and what he means to the Wildcats, but it's Brunson, the Naismith Men's College Player of the Year, who is 'Nova's difference-maker.

"They present problems that most college teams can never present", the ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla said.

"I think on Tuesday or Wednesday, I might not go into the office one of those days", Beilein said. "If I was starting this year and we made a change in the midway through the year or something like that, it would have messed up what we had". I don't know how to handle this. "So I didn't want to mess that up".

Allowing the Wolverines to make just 43.6 percent of their field-goal attempts and just 3 of 23 tries from 3-point range, the top-seeded Wildcats notched their second title in three years with a 79-62 verdict at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

"I didn't like the way it looked", Young said.
