Griffin, who was out of football all of past year, was signed by the Ravens on Wednesday, the team announced.

After dealing with a dislocated ankle and a concussion, Griffin signed a two-year deal with the Browns that didn't fare much better.

Griffin last played in 2016 but lasted only five games with the Cleveland Browns before injuries set him back. After Griffin took a visit to another team, Baltimore then struck a deal with the former Heisman Trophy victor late Tuesday.

The Ravens initially brought in Griffin to throw to free-agent receivers during a tryout last week and were impressed with his workout.

Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh is optimistic about the signing; saying the deal was a bargain and that it improved the team.

Griffin figures to be the primary backup to Ravens starter Joe Flacco, as Ryan Mallett is the only other quarterback listed on Baltimore's depth chart.

Rob Kardashian Planning To Take Blac Chyna To Court Over Their Daughter
YBN Almighty Jay was also present during Chyna's dispute at Six Flags , but it has not been confirmed if he was involved. According to TMZ , a source close to Chyna said the woman called her a "hood rat", which sent her over the top.

Griffin was the starting quarterback the last time the Browns won a game. "I'm really feeling like we got a steal. He's a very talented quarterback", he said.

As the No. 2 overall pick by the Washington Redskins in 2012, Griffin burst onto the season as one of the most electric young quarterbacks the National Football League has seen.

The Ravens signing RGIII shouldn't preclude Baltimore from possibly drafting a young signal-caller this year.

RG3 returned in 2013 but was benched after throwing 16 TD passes and 13 interceptions.

Neither quarterback is in Washington now, obviously, with Cousins having signed an $84 million, fully-guaranteed, three-year contract with the Vikings this offseason after playing through two franchise tags. "I felt like he really wanted to be here, be a Raven".
