3-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Trump Tower In New York

New York City firefigthers on Saturday are battling a fire on the 50th floor of Trump Tower, the fire department tweeted.

President Donald Trump, who has an office in the building, was in Washington. That one was characterized as an electrical fire, and was mostly confined to the building's roof. Firemen (and women) did a great job.

No injuries have been reported.

Trump Tower, which opened in 1983, is located on 5th Ave. and 57th St.in New York City.

No firearm was discovered at the scene, and police stated Vassell had been holding a metal pipe with a knob on the end. It's nothing to be afraid of", another player said. "This was not an emotionally disturbed call".

Eric Trump, the president's second-oldest son, tweeted that the fire was in a residential apartment at the tower. "The @FDNY and @NYPD are truly some of the most incredible people anywhere!" he posted.

He tweeted shortly before 7 p.m. local time that the fire had been extinguished, though the FDNY said minutes later that the blaze had grown from a three-alarm to a four-alarm blaze, and that firefighters remained on the scene.

According to NBC New York, at least five fire trucks were seen responding to the fire on Fifth Avenue.

He added some smoke reached other parts of the building but did not know if any damage occurred to the president's personal residence in the building. Some surrounding streets from Trump Tower were closed during the incident.
