Who's Invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Wedding? Not Donald Trump

The official spokesman of Prince Harry has confirmed that political leaders of Britain and leaders from other countries are not on the list of the Royal wedding.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to tie the knot in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.

Neither Prime Minister Justin Trudeau nor U.S. President Donald Trump was invited to next month's royal wedding.

We know royal weddings are inherently political event - maybe even the most political event, outside of outright war - but bear with us here.

That call extends to the Obamas, with whom Prince Harry has a friendly relationship.

The list includes Phillip Gillespie, a soldier from Northern Ireland who lost his right leg in a combat incident in Afghanistan, where Harry also served, and a number of people who have founded charities. She has invited Sharon Goodman - the grandmother of 15-year-old Olivia Campbell, one of the 22 concert-goers killed in the terror attack - to join her. Amelia said: 'I'm so excited to be going'.

Teenager Reuben Litherland, who has been campaigning for deaf-friendly screenings at cinemas, also made the list.

Prince Harry & Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill they have received since their engagement, & have asked that anyone who might wish to mark the occasion of their wedding considers giving to charity, instead of sending a gift.

"They will watch the arrivals of the Bride and Groom and their wedding guests at the Chapel and will see the Carriage Procession as it departs from the Castle".

"It has been decided that an official list of political leaders - both United Kingdom and global - is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's wedding", a Kensington Palace spokesman said.
