Oculus Go, the standalone, wire-free virtual reality (VR) headset from the makers of Oculus Rift, is now on sale.

Discovered by RoadtoVR, Reddit user theDarthonly shared a photo of sixteen Oculus Go units on display at a Fayetteville, Arkansas Best Buy, some marked 32GB and others 64GB, matching previously-known storage capacity options for the headset.

The Oculus Go is the ideal easy to use VR headset for everyday use to immerse in videos, games and social apps.

The 32GB model is priced at $199, or if you want more storage, you can get a 64GB version for $249.

Pre-orders of the $200 Oculus Go virtual reality headset were snapped up by eager buyers in the middle of last night, resulting in the device selling out in a matter of hours, according to a Digital Trends report. Both will come with a wireless controller. There's also integrated spatial audio, along with a microphone, so you won't need to wear a separate headset. Battery life is set around 2 hours for playing games, and about 2.5 hours when you're streaming media and video content.

Rahul Gandhi releases Congress Manifesto in Mangaluru
The Congress president in fact exuded confidence that his party would win the coming state elections, including in Karnataka . As per the Indian Express reported, PM Modi has a program for a tentative schedule and has been drawn up for 15 rallies.

Although it shares a brand with the Oculus Rift, in reality the Oculus Go actually has more in common with VR headsets like Samsung's Gear VR.

At this point in time, there is no word on United Kingdom availability of the Oculus Go.

That architecture has helped Facebook and Oculus keep the price down, of course, but it has also forced some compromises.

The hardware is the company's first standalone headset and has launched with more than 1,000 apps, games and experiences. That will mean things like head-tilt recognition and more.
