Tanaka, Yankees dominate Angels

"I think he's doing something very special", Tanaka said of the two-way Ohtani, per MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.

There's no timetable now set for the 23-year-old pitcher/slugger to return to the field, though he's expected to undergo further evaluation on Saturday.

On Friday against the Yankees, Ohtani hit his fourth home run in his first at-bat but on his next trip to the plate, tweaked his ankle on the bag as he tried to beat out a grounder.

On the other side, Tanaka has had an up-and-down start to the season. Ohtani will likely be in the lineup against Baltimore.

With both stars heading to the majors from Japan, it was a matchup that many-including both players-wanted to see. I don't look at it as I'm bummed or I'm happy.

Instagram adds video chat to its host of features
There were reports that the service might add a video chat feature to the app and that's precisely what it has announced today. It will work for both individuals and groups - and, you won't need to stop scrolling through your feed to have a video call.

If Ohtani ends up throwing a bullpen session Monday and is able to do so without any issues, the Angels are entertaining the idea of having him start Wednesday against the Orioles.

Asked if he could go on the disabled list, Scioscia said: "At this point, we haven't made any determination".

Ohtani, who suffered a mild sprain to his left ankle during Friday's series opener against the New York Yankees, said his ankle was improving but he was not in the lineup for the second straight game.

"He might be available to pinch hit", Scioscia said.
