Eurovision hopefuls prepare for first semi-final

Ireland has qualified for the Eurovision final for the first time since 2013. Last year, fans had all but booked their trips to Italy for 2018 but were flabbergasted when Francesco Gabbani's entry went from bookies' favourite to finishing sixth.

This year's Eurovision Song Contest will mark the 63rd year the competition has been running.

The 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Portugal's capital city, Lisbon, this week.
