Paul, who injured his leg in the fourth quarter of Houston's Game 5 win on Thursday, was a game-time decision on Monday, but the Rockets but the Rockets reportedly concluded that he just couldn't play through the injury. Then they got outscored by Golden State's Splash Brothers in the second half, when Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 37 points and the Rockets managed to put up only 25.

Andre Iguodala has not played since game 3 of this series after exiting that game after colliding knees with James Harden. In fact, that play - which the Warriors ran seven times in Saturday's win alone - has generated far more points in these six games (42) than it did during the entire 82-game regular season that just passed, according to data from Second Spectrum and NBA Advanced Stats. The Rockets led by 10 at the second half of the series. Durant finished with 34 points on 11-of-21 shooting, scoring 21 in the second half. "Game seven at our house".

The Rockets scored 39, 22, 16 and 9 points in each of the four quarters of game six. Thompson stayed in rhythm most of the night while Curry (29 points) and Durant (23) went through off-and-on cold stretches and afterward joked how he was "born" for this.

But coach Mike D'Antoni said he had "no idea" whether star point guard Chris Paul would be able to play after suffering a hamstring strain in game five. The Rockets and the Warriors are set to play for a spot in the NBA Finals on Monday night. The Rockets were without starting point guard Chris Paul, who is out with a hamstring injury.

We're a little more than 24 hours away from Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Warriors held no such pre-camp huddle - champions have what others want - yet knew that once the Rockets added Paul, Houston would be their toughest test since Durant signed up. Head coach Steve Kerr wasn't particularly thrilled to talk about it.

Thompson's performance has allowed the Warriors to force a Game 7 as their hopes of appearing in the NBA Finals for a fourth straight year are still alive.
