IOS 12 features we missed: second Face ID user and many more

U.S tech giant Apple is holding its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) presently and one of the first products that got unveiled is the new iOS 12.

Apple faced a backlash late a year ago when it emerged that the company slowed down some older iPhones with flagging batteries.

Missing features from the announcement and iOS 12 include the ability to set default apps, multi-user support on the iPad, a redesigned homescreen, always-on display, and a new location for Control Center on the iPhone X. In fact, Apple doubled-down on Control Center's location by moving it to the same spot on the iPad. It requires an iPhone 5s or newer on the phone side.

For example, the Tile app can be integrated into Siri so you can say "I lost my keys" and have Siri communicate with Tile to locate them.

The company's latest iOS update brings a host of new features. The next Safari update will include privacy protections that block Facebook "likes" and prevent such widgets from tracking users when they visit third-party sites. But this year, don't expect news about new gadgets. He then tests this new feature by asking the crowd "do you want to allow to use cookies?" which is a not-so-subtle jab at the Mark Zuckerberg-owned conglomerate, who recently experienced public backlash for breach of trust following the revelation of data mining by Cambridge Analytica. And when you use "do not disturb" during bed time, your iPhone shows a mostly black screen until you tap the screen in the morning to dive in.

Much like Google Photos, Apple's photo library will suggest sharing options based on people in the photos. Notifications will be grouped into bundles that you can expand to view individual items.
