Unlike a whole lot of games announced at E3 which have tentative and vague release dates, Super Mario Party is very definitely (we hope) scheduled for October 5, so you can get partying this fall. Ultimate, built in a shinier version of the Smash Wii U engine, would celebrate the entire series by including every character ever I almost screamed in this office like a jerk YouTuber. Let's see a full recap of what the company shared with us during Nintendo E3 2018 conference.

This story is developing. Ultimate will drop on December 7th only on the Switch.

The Smash Amiibo line is about to get an ultimate refresh.

Nintendo got to close out E3, but it's hard to say whether or not it stood up to the competition. Ultimate, which features so many playable characters, new moves, and tweaks to existing fighting controls that Nintendo needed 25 minutes just to cover the bare minimum.

Plus, for a limited time, customers can pre-order Fire TV Cube and Amazon Cloud Cam together for $199.98 - a $40 savings. Another plus: since it's created to hook up to a TV, users can easily control and view smart camera feeds.

In case you don't make it to the Smash Bros Invitational for yourself, here's what it's like to play Super Smash Bros. If Super Smash Bros. for 3DS was anything to go by, this is going to take the portability of the franchise above and beyond what's expected. The game takes place Fedlan, where the Church of Seiros exerts vast control over its people. Characters previously released as paid downloadable content are also included in the game.

It's a cunning ploy: add the most popular game in the world right now to your platform and make it instantly available. For those who don't mind the stage hazards, there are plenty of unique fan-favorite stages returning from games past, as well. If you're familiar with the game, you're sure to be excited for this coming "battle between the Aegises" - and for everyone else, this was an anime-tacular trailer rife with cat people, solemn declarations, and cool, combo-centric RPG combat.

For starters, the Switch game includes the highest number of characters of any entry in the franchise, bringing together every character that's ever been present in past entries, even those that were removed in later entries, such Wolf from the Star Fox franchise or Young Link from The Legend of Zelda. You'll even notice the old man from the start of Breath of the Wild floating around on his sail cloth.

And the appearance of the multiplayer smash hit Fortnite on the Switch - as a free download - shows that third-party developers are willing to jump on board too.
