A woman from the USA state of Arizona is thanking Todd, after the dog saved her from a rattlesnake bite.

Paula Godwin, a woman from Anthem, said on Facebook that her and her two dogs, Copper and Todd, were hiking "bright and early" around 7th Street and Carefree Highway in Phoenix on June 29. She even posted a live video on Facebook sharing about her morning walk wishing everyone a happy day.

Todd, however, jumped up and got between Godwin and the snake, saving her from a bite to the leg. "He jumped right in front of my leg were I surely would have got bit". What a fearless boy!

As you can see from the photo, the poor pup's face was very swollen.

Godwin had immediately taken him to an animal hospital following the incident.

This is how Paula Godwin's dog Todd looked after his battle with the snake.

Todd noticed the rattlesnake coming towards them before Goodwin did. A true h*ckin hero.

It has been interacted with more than 200,000 times since it was posted Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, Todd copped the bite.

Todd has recovered well, and his swelling has gone down, according to Godwin. She also thanked the pup's many fans on the internet for their support and kindness.

Posting an update on the dog's recovery, Godwin added: "Todd's doing so well he is a wonder to me how he is healing".
