Donald Trump hails 'extraordinary' France for World Cup win

Trump is departing for Helsinki on Sunday for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.

U.S. recognition of the Crimea grab by Russian Federation in 2014 and an end to the sanctions would be part of the mix.

They meet again in November 2017 in Vietnam on the margins of an Asia-Pacific APEC summit, pictured smiling together. Negotiated with Jordan, it was heralded by the U.S.as a path forward to quell the violence in Syria and move toward peace.

The summit is expected to address a range of issues, including Syria, nuclear weapons and election meddling.

Trump has previously blasted that agreement as a bad deal negotiated by his predecessor.

Russian Federation has repeatedly denied those allegations and has said it is looking forward to the talks as a way to improve relations.

Trump has also been accused of not being prepared well enough to meet with Putin. "Had nothing to do with the Trump Administration, but Fake News doesn't want to report the truth, as usual!"

Trump was later persuaded to do it overseas, tacking the summit onto his planned visit to Belgium and Britain. It's unclear how much influence Russian Federation has with Kim, but the backing of another regional power could help push North Korea along on the road to denuclearization. Since then, he has consistently questioned whether the country was really to blame, contradicting the judgment of 17 USA intelligence agencies.
