Demi Lovato's former tourmate DJ Khaled has assured fans the singer will be fine six days after she suffered a reported overdose at her home in Hollywood.

Demi Lovato's good friend and backup dancer is sticking up for herself following allegations that she was to blame for Lovato's most recent overdose. News that Lovato is "grateful to be alive" following the overdose.

Demi Lovato is "getting better" following her suspected overdose earlier this week. "She's been heavily using and her friends have been very anxious that this was going to happen".

The singer previously went to rehab when she was 18.

Demi Lovato has been open about her struggle with addiction and even released a single called "Sober" where she talked about her struggle and how she fell off the sobriety train. Vitale, who has been receiving death threats online, broke her silence Sunday, saying she was "not with Demi when the incident happened", adding, "There is no need for any negativity towards the ones who care about Demi at this time".
