Bill Clinton brings laughter and tears with Aretha Franklin anecdotes

Several speakers are expected to honor Franklin at her funeral Friday, including Smokey Robinson, former President Bill Clinton, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and more.

Sharpton received loud cheers when he criticized President Donald Trump for saying that the singer "worked for" him as he responded to her death. Franklin's name and the title "Queen of Soul" are embroidered into the champagne-colored velvet lining the interior. "It was more like us supporting each other", she recalled of their rise to fame.

Franklin's body was brought to the church in a white hearse that carried the body of her father, minister C.L. Franklin, in 1991 and civil rights leader Rosa Parks in 2005; and like them, she will be buried in Detroit's Woodlawn Cemetery.
