Raiders and Khalil Mack ‘essentially nowhere’ in contract talks

10 years ago, the Vikings traded a big haul of draft picks to the Kansas City Chiefs to acquire Jared Allen and finally solve their pass-rush problems.

The Oakland Raiders have an agreement in place to trade defensive lineman Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. The believed price for the Bears is two first-round picks being sent back to Oakland.

Expect them to only move Mack if they were to receive multiple high-picks.

Mack was entering the final year of his rookie contract, and remained at odds with Raiders brass over how lucrative an extension would be. With Gruden open to dealing Mack, there was no way Davis was going to veto him after giving him $100 million to coach the team.

China slams Trump's 'irresponsible and absurd logic' on North Korea
Forces in Korea, has taken steps to mitigate any loss of training by scheduling smaller exercises and staff drills. Immediately after the summit Mr Trump announced there was "no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea".

"We weren't very good previous year on defense with Khalil Mack", Gruden said on July 30, via Pro Football Talk.

Mack has averaged 12 sacks over his last three seasons with the Raiders. I don't know if we intercepted a pass until Week 14.

It's going to take a toll on a team's future if they trade for Khalil Mack. They're now without OLB Leonard Floyd (broken hand), arguably their best pass rusher.

The team would then negotiate a long-term contract with the star, who has held out over a contract dispute with the Raiders.
