NLCS: Brewers Replace Gio Gonzalez With Zach Davies On Active Roster

The incident immediately took the top spot on the growing list of Machado's debatable decisions in baseball ethics.

This all comes just a day after Machado told Ken Rosenthal - in response to a separate flap (!) - that he's not a guy who is ever going to be "Johnny Hustle" out there.

Machado also sparked controversy with the way he slid into second base in Game 3, reaching out with his hand in an attempt to keep Brewers shortstop Orlando Arcia from turning a double play and getting called for interference after the second occurrence. These are not the ways you want to get your name in the news ahead of free agency.

Of course, if Machado were having a bad postseason, it would be easier to make all of the criticism stick, but he leads all postseason hitters with nine RBIs and is tied with three other players for the home run lead (three). Some parts are not so fair.

"You saw the replay, probably", Machado said.

Usain Bolt scores first goals for Central Coast Mariners
Usain Bolt scored a brace as he opened his Central Coast Mariners account in a 4-0 win against Macarthur South West United . Maybe Bolt's two goals on Friday will help seal the deal. "All I can do is do what I wanted to do, prove myself", he said.

Both Machado and Aguilar said after the game that they had no quarrel with each other, and Aguilar said Machado apologized to him. In the past few days, the 26-year old shortstop has been seen not running out groundballs that he would be safe on and he is making dirty plays while running the bases. While at first, Machado and Aguilar appeared to make up, sharing a hug. "What happens on the field stays on the field". It looks awful. I look back at the video and I'm like, 'Woah, what was I doing?' You know, just the emotions of the game ...

Yelich isn't alone in his slump, however: Milwaukee is batting.224 through four games in the NLCS, striking out 41 times - which would seem like a lot if the Dodgers hadn't struck out 49 times. Hill held the Brewers hitless through the first three innings of the game and ultimately surrendered three total hits in his outing along with one run. The Brewers will counter with left-hander Wade Miley, who held the Dodgers scoreless over 5 2/3 innings in Game 2. Machado hit a routine ground ball to short and was thrown out on his way to first.

It's not the first time Machado's intentions have been questioned during the series. That's just not my personality, that's not my cup of tea, that's not who I am. You can say it wasn't on objective, this and that, but it's a dirty play.

Did Machado intentionally come in spikes high on the veteran second baseman?
