What will be under the lid when Apple unveils its new MacBooks?

On paper, it sounds kind of surprising, but the reports claiming that Apple will include a USB-C port instead of its proprietary Lightning are certainly racking up.

I'll be on the ground at Apple's upcoming fall keynote bringing you all the news directly from the show floor.

The 2018 iPad Pro line is expected to feature an iPhone X-like design, meaning no Home button, slimmer bezels, and a TrueDepth camera system for Face ID. The tablet is expected to come in two sizes - a 12.9-inch version and a smaller 11-inch version. But still, it felt as though new iPhones and Apple Watches were only part of the equation.

Apple has just sent out press invites for a special event in NY on October 30. However other rumours contradict this, suggesting 3.5mm headphone jacks will be dropped in favour of lightning ports. Apple doesn't usually launch new products in NY, often opting for a venue closer to its home base in Cupertino, California. One rumor suggests that the new model will have Touch ID, a fingerprint sensor, but will lack the touchscreen Touch Bar found on Macbook Pro models.

It can be noted that Cupertino-based company already unveiled the generic iPad (6 Gen), earlier this year.

Potentially, a new Mac Mini desktop that's oriented towards professional usage.

It looks like Apple isn't anywhere near done with its product lineup for this year.
