Investigation Continues Into Who Mailed Bombs To Democratic Leaders, CNN

Law enforcement authorities are treating the series of bombs as a domestic terror matter and are advising the public to remain vigilant.

All the targets are frequently maligned by right-wing critics.

They appeared to be sent from the same unknown sender, as other packages were sent to Democratic individuals, including former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton - all of whom have been highly critical of Trump. The packages are believed to be "pipe bombs", volatile by their very nature.

FBI investigators are working around the clock to identify the source of the suspicious packages, and say it is extremely helpful that none of the devices detonated, which will help them trace the source.

US actor Robert de Niro looks on during a news conference in Marbella, Spain May 16, 2018.

X-ray images show that the package addressed to De Niro contains a device similar to the pipe bombs found in other packages this week that were addressed to prominent Democrats, the two sources said. There is no information to suggest she sent the packages.

Still, as news broke of the suspicious package at the De Niro-linked building, Trump tweeted the media must "clean up it's act, FAST!"

The FBI said late on Wednesday it had confirmed two additional packages, similar in appearance to the others, were addressed to US Representative Waters, a Democratic congresswoman and outspoken Trump critic.

None of the bombs detonated and no one was injured.

The package was addressed to the Hollywood actor and was similar to the one sent to CNN and others on Wednesday, sources told Fox 5 News in New York City.

Game 7 takes place in Milwaukee Saturday, with the Dodgers looking to rookie Walker Buehler to resurrect their World Series dream. Urias allowed a line drive to Christian Yelich that left fielder Chris Taylor caught on the warning track with a sliding effort.

Around the same time, multiple outlets also reported that authorities had been dispatched to a postal facility in New Castle, investigate a package that resembled the suspicious parcels discovered Wednesday and was addressed to Joe Biden.

Police said the package had been delivered either Tuesday or Wednesday, WCBS said.

A law enforcement official said the package has similar characteristics to several others that were discovered this week. Details weren't immediately available.

Later on Thursday, a Federal Bureau of Investigation public affair specialist told CNN that the agency is responding to a US postal facility in DE, but did not go into any details.

No evacuation of the property was ordered, WNBC reported, noting the building was unoccupied. "Everyone is safe and the building is open", Tribeca said. "This is not what free speech should look like". While on stage during the Tony Awards in June, the actor was censored by the telecast for proclaiming, "F- Trump".

As he introduced Bruce Springsteen, he said the following: 'I'm going to say one thing: F*ck Trump. "It's no longer 'Down with Trump.' It's f- Trump".

Trump doubled down on the comments in a tweet Thursday morning disparaging the press.

De Niro has gone on several vulgar rants criticizing the president in the past.

When Mr Trump was campaigning for president in 2016, the New York-born actor slammed the Republican candidate as "blatantly stupid", "totally nuts" and an "idiot". "It's 'The Emperor's New Clothes" - the guy is a f*cking fool.
