Joel Embiid Says He's in Andre Drummond's Head

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is known throughout the league for his never-ending trash talk. Drummond responded by referencing Embiid's inability to stay healthy and play in back-to-back games in the past.

The play that ended in Embiid's flop resulted in a technical foul for Pistons center Andre Drummond, his second of the night, and his ejection from the game with 42.8 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

After he scored, Drummond sort of tossed out a little chicken wing and Embiid tumbled over backwards to draw the technical foul.

Embiid made the comment following an egregious flop Tuesday night that got Drummond booted out.

Embiid and the Sixers next face the Pistons at home on November 3.

The second set did not disappoint with a competitive start before the break point chances came out to play. Both players exchanged breaks of serve twice in the first set.

Last season's NBA Rookie of the Year Simmons was named in Philadelphia's starting five ahead of Wednesday's game in Milwaukee. "All I was doing was talking and playing basketball and trying to win the game".

He scored 22 points in the second quarter and had 28 in the half, despite missing his first six free throws.

Philadelphia's Joel Embiid (left) and Detroit's Andre Drummond took the tension to Twitter. Embiid acted as if Drummond had hit him in the face, and fell to the ground.

Then, down the stretch of regulation, the teams traded the lead six times, with three ties.

Drummond and Embiid have exchanged words through the media in the past, with Embiid saying last October that Drummond doesn't play defense and that he couldn't shoot. The Pistons play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.
