Donald Trump Responds to Oprah: Democrat Candidate for Georgia Governor 'Not Qualified'

She dispelled rumors that she may be considering a presidential run herself and said she had simply chosen to come to the state to support Abrams.

Winfrey pointed out that she's an Independent, and she votes for her "values".

"If she was a Republican and she was running against Trump in the primary, I'd have a tough decision to make", Watters quipped.

He said that Winfrey's comments about voter suppression, in particular, will resonate in a state where that has been a concern in the past.

Vice President Mike Pence mocked the Hollywood liberals who were campaigning for the Democratic candidate in the Georgia gubernatorial race.

He did not have a negative comment for Winfrey.

He was there stumping on behalf of Georgia secretary of state and GOP candidate Brian Kemp. "I am not trying to test any waters, don't want to go in those waters".

Winfrey attends two forums with Democratic nominee Stacey Abrams.

Winfrey did not mention Pence who, in appearances same day, charged Abrams with being "bankrolled by Hollywood liberals" and derided Winfrey's presence as well as a recent campaign appearance for Abrams by Will Ferrell.

More than 1.5 million of the state's nearly seven million registered voters have cast ballots already. "Canvassing for #StaceyAbramsforGovernor", Winfrey posted.

"Democracy is not just about our individual rights and concerns and our individual protections", Winfrey said, "but rather it lives and thrives in making sure that everybody is lifted by the community". "Are you voting for her?" "Do you have an early voting plan?"

She said Abrams keeps "standing strong for the values that matter to me and the values that matter to Georgians all over this state", and added that "if you're woke just a little bit, you know everyone is not treated equally".
