Dez Bryant Gets His First Practice in with Saints

Don't expect that Dez Bryant "X" just yet.

He is getting an MRI and the club is awaiting more information.

The 2018 regular season has been one for the record books for Brees.

While some folks might be anxious to see whether Bryant can return to Pro Bowl form in the Big Easy, Sharpe is tempering his expectations, believing just one meaningful play would make the signing a good move by the Saints.

Bryant joined the Saints after spending seven months as a free agent following his release from the Cowboys in April. In last week's showdown against Los Angeles, the Saints made their case as the team to beat in the NFC, upending the Rams 45-35 at home.

Welbeck has struggled with injuries in recent times but Iwobi hopes to see the Englishman back on the pitch as soon as possible. It was the hosts that took the game to their opponents, and they were lucky to still be on level terms before half-time.

"I'm going to always be me", he told Mouton.

Bryant has indicated on social media that the injury will be challenging to overcome, writing on his verified Twitter account, "Things was just starting to heat up for me ..." I'm not a bad guy. "You can ask my teammates - my ex-teammates - how I am", Bryant said.

The Cowboys released him in April before he was due $12.5 million this year - partly because of his production and partly due to a "fiery" personality that executive vice president Stephen Jones said could be "a distraction" - especially when it came to the development of young quarterback Dak Prescott. It's like family. Every locker room that I've been in from middle school, high school, college to the pros, it's always been like a family.

The Saints previously placed wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. on injured reserve.

"He kept having the swelling week in and week out and he really was pushing through it", Payton said.
