"[Butler's] goals match ours and the city of Philadelphia".

Jimmy Butler either has a bad short-term memory or he considers triggering an incredibly messy divorce with his team to be a normal thing. Philly is on the road against the Orlando Magic Wednesday night, where Butler will be the main attraction.

76ers: Home against Utah on Friday night.

There were reports in recent weeks that Butler had a poor relationship with young Timberwolves teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. "In the locker room, they loved him". If any of them needs my help, I'm always (going to try) to help them to the best of my ability.

"You really wouldn't know who I am unless you're around me every day", Butler said. "And I think it will".

Wacker would not comment on what Trinh's motives may have been, but said investigators had "strong evidence" including DNA. Funds will also be given to the Queensland Strawberry Growers Association and Growcom to distribute to affected farmers.

Sixers general manager Elton Brand said he also checked on Butler's background and came away satisfied.

Butler talked about when they get out there and play together and how it'll hopefully be a good story. "It was an easy call for me". Robert Covington is a solid player, and both he and Dario Saric helped provide space for Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to work and lead the offense.

Marc Stein of the New York Times, in his National Basketball Association newsletter, posited that the Sixers "remain highly interested" in Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter Kyle Korver, which makes plenty of sense. After one season in Minnesota, he told the Timberwolves just before training camp that he wanted a change of scenery. During his media availability, the four-time All-Star noted that his ultimate goal with the team is winning a championship. That's why we play, why they play. After having the ball stolen from him by Magic forward Wes Iwundu, the 7-footer chased Iwundu down the court and blocked his layup attempt from behind.

"I don't think that's a problem". We're just going to have to make that up.

Butler can opt out of the final season of his current contract and test free agency this summer. The Sixers have been much better on the defensive end of the floor, where they rank 9th in defensive rating, as opposed to 21st in offensive rating, and there's no statistical evidence based on this season that Butler will improve Philadelphia defensively.
