Former WWE wrestler Trent Barreta - who also wrestles on the indy scene under the moniker "Trent?" - has suffered a pretty nasty knee injury during a match this past weekend.

Trent  posted on Twitter, "My patellar tendon seems to no longer be connected to my kneecap.  This probably means surgery. See you again soon, friends." The tweet was pulled.  However, he posted a picture of his severely swollen knee, pictured below.

Trent has remained very active on the indy scene since his WWE departure, proving to be one of the more valuable acts in the indies.  He's the current FIP Champion, one half of a top tag team in PWG, and heavily featured in both Dragon Gate and EVOLVE.

Best wishes to a speedy recovery!
