Tonight at TNA Slammiversary, TNA President Dixie Carter announced that Kurt Angle would be the second inductee to the TNA Hall of Fame.
After a video package aired, Angle came out to the ring and teared up. He received a standing ovation from the audience. Carter spoke of Angle winning an Olympic gold medal, coming to TNA, and more.
Angle said he wasn't expecting the induction and thanked his family. He said this was the best moment he's ever had in Boston. He thanked Dixie and Serge (husband), and Dixie's parents. He spoke highly of the TNA talent and said they made him look good. He thanked the fans and Dixie and Jeff Jarrett.
Drew's Take: Classy move by TNA and definitely a good choice. I thought they would induct Hogan but they took the better route, thankfully. Angle deserves it.
