TNA held a press conference today at Hogan's Beach, a restaurant owned by Hulk Hogan, in Tampa, FL.  This was done to promote ticket sales starting Friday for a TNA live event on May 23.  The event will be held at the University of South Florida Sun Dome.

Appearing at the event were Hulk Hogan, Magnus, several members of the Aces and Eights faction, and USF head football coach Willie Taggart.  Coach Taggart was presented with a replica version of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

It's worth noting that Hogan has not appeared in a wrestling event in Tampa in over a decade.  He said. "It's a huge deal for us.  To bring this to my home town...I know the energy will tear the place down."

But brother, you knew this wasn't going to be a normal press conference.

After the members of Aces and Eights beat down a security guard, they rode away on jet skis.  It wasn't long after that that the sore subject of the Hogan "sex tapes" made their appearance.

One attendee at the press conference asked questions of Hogan and Taggart regarding that subject.  They also made references to the local Cowhead radio show.  Before being escorted out by security, the man asked "Coach, have you seen his sex tape?"

It leaves one to wonder if that was just an overzealous fan, or if it was a radio plant.  The full story can be found at the Tampa Tribune site.
