WWE Puts The Squeeze On Indy Promotions
Wrestlemania is no doubt one of the biggest wrestling events in the country. Besides the fan fare that takes place, the fans can usually look forward to special events and wrestling shows from many of the top Indy promoters. This year however will be very different. This year the WWE decided to put the squeeze on the Indy promoters on the weekend of WM by making city owned facilities sign no compete clauses. This means that promoters who usually run conventions and wrestling shows during WrestleMania week have been told that the non-competes won't allow any wrestling events to be held in those venues.
