WWE Smackdown will be airing tonight starting at 8pm EST.  Join us for LIVE coverage of the show, featuring an update on Daniel Bryan's condition, plus much more!

 - We kick things off with a recap of WWE Payback, in case you didn't see it, or watch Raw the next night.  Or, you know, if you don't use the internet.

 - Daniel Bryan comes out to a chorus of cheers.  The "Yes" chants start before he even speaks.

 - DB talks about how his match on Raw was called off due to injury.  Never happened in 13 years of wrestling.  He said he told the doc he could continue.

 - "Officially" the doc didn't agree.  He thinks they stopped the match cause they think he's a weak link.

 - DB is pissed that Orton picked him up and patted him on the head.  He doesn't care what Orton, the doctors, or WWE officials think.  He's gonna beat Orton tonight.  HUGE "Yes" chant.

 - Orton's music kicks in and he walks out.  He says Bryan kept coming and that made Orton respect him, but the match was stopped because he couldn't defend himself.  Respect, blah blah.

 - Bryan feels patronized.  Sees no respect, just pity.  Weak link!  Weak link!

 - Orton says he's out of line.  When they stop the match tonight, he'll be carried out.  End scene.

 - Jericho vs. Del Rio later tonight.  Wade Barrett vs. Curtis Axel for the IC title too!

 - Here comes Sheamus, fella!  But first, a commercial!

- We're back from commercial, Sheamus is facing Cody Rhodes.

 - Do you guys remember when Cody Rhodes was not a joke and facing Sheamus every week?  Yeah, that seems like a year ago.

 - Maybe it was...

 - This is a decent enough match.  Let's be honest, we've seen it about a dozen times already.  Of course, Sheamus wins, this time by submission.  Cody needs the victory pretty desperately.

 - As soon as the bell rings, Damien Sandow is all over Sheamus.  I like that Sandow is showing some anger, but otherwise, this is stale.

 - Loving these Wyatt Family vignettes!

 - Is it wrong that I wish Curtis Axel would wait until his music actually kicks in before he walks out to the ramp?  Little things like that add up and make a difference, in my opinion.

 - Wade Barrett is in the ring after the break.  LIllian Garcia does a proper title-match intro.

 - Solid match, good back and forth action.  Axel hit his spinning neckbreaker, yet unnamed, but I'm still going to call it the McGuillicutter.  Axel gets the clean pinfall victory.

 - Axel looking better each week.  Giving him the IC title was smart.

 - Hey you guys remember the time Mark Henry retired?  Just kidding!

 - AJ Lee skips to the ring, title in hand.  Commercial time!

 - We're back and Natalya is waiting to face off against AJ.

 - Natalya hits a sweet modified surfboard-like move.  Never saw that one before!  Someone on Twitter called it the "Pin-Up."  Cool stuff.

 - Back from yer another break, and Natalya is in charge.  Spinning clothesline for a pin attempt.  Nattie starts telling AJ she has no respect, so of course, this will be her downfall.

 - AJ starts biting Nattie and then locks in the Black Widow.  Slow clap from Big E as AJ gets the win.

 - Backstage... CAT FIGHT!!!

 - Here comes sir glowy jacket, Chris Jericho himself.  Looks like he'll be facing Alberto Del Rio.

 - I wonder if Del Rio will go back to the classy cars, or if Ricardo will lose the bucket and Mexican bowtie.

 - Del Rio seems like a more credible heel champion this go-around.  More fire and anger from him overall.  I like it.

 - The match spills outside, so naturally a commercial is near.

 - Jericho starts getting the advantage, and Del Rio is making mistakes and missing moves.  Del Rio goes for the cross arm breaker and reverses a Walls of Jericho to get it.

 - Well, wait... wasn't enough after all.  Jericho locks it in.

 - Ricardo interferes and for some reason the ref doesn't bother calling for a DQ until Dolph Ziggler runs in and attacks Del Rio.

 - ADR gets the DQ win.  Dolph Ziggler gets a Codebreaker.  Naturally ADR hits the ring after Jericho is done and kicks Ziggs in the head.

 - We return from break to recaps and stuff.  Christian comes out to the ring.  3MB is waiting for him already.  He's facing Drew McIntyre.

 - Hey, remember that time that Drew McIntyre was The Chosen One?  Just kidding!

 - Killswitch for the win.

 - Christian takes a mic and says it's been 10 long months but it's good to be back in front of his peeps.  He says he wants one more match (for the title) but The Shield's music hits and they run out from back.

 - Christian is surrounded.  He does his best but he's overwhelmed quick.  Triple power bomb and he's left lying in the ring.

 - ONE OF A KIND!  The RVD Video plays again.

 - After break, an epic video of the Jericho/Punk match from Payback, followed up by the events of Monday's Raw.

 - Backstage, that interview chick interviews Paul Heyman.  Paul takes offense to her asking about his personal info.  Heyman reverses the issue and starts asking her personal questions to illustrate a point.  He says Punk made it clear that he is not Heyman's client and they are just friends, so anything that happens between them is personal.  Next time, she should ask him about Curtis Axel.

 - Great promo work from Heyman, as usual.

 - Randy Orton heads out for our main event.  Daniel Bryan comes out after the commercial  Or during the commercial.  Or whatever.

 - Pretty intense match.  The fans are definitely into it.

 - Orton suplexes Bryan over the rope, to the outside, and I swear it looked like his head bounced off the mat.  We cut to break.

 - Back, and DB is getting set up for a superplex on the top rope.  Bryan works it out and hits a missile dropkick.

 - Bryan goes apeshit and hits a flurry of offense.  2-count!

 - Orton goes back for that superplex again, and this time he hits it.  2-count!

 - Orton sets up for an RKO but Daniel Bryan ducks out.  Orton follows and hits a back body drop onto the barricade.  Bryan pushes Orton into the barricade and hits a running knee off the apron.

 - Bryan breaks the count and hits Orton with a suicide dive outside the ring.

 - Bryan makes it back into the ring before Orton does, and wins via countout.  He's not happy with that and fights with the ref.  He tries to get the match restarted.

 - Bryan and the ref do the Yes/No bit as the show comes to an end.

 - Awesome match to end the night, though the finish left some room to be desired.  Cearly, they're not done with these two and I'm ok with that.  They're having a great series of matches and Bryan is bringing out the best in Orton right now.  Orton is bringing Daniel Bryan credibility and respect.
