The Weekend Wrestling Live Event Call for 7/1/2016 – WWE Events in Japan, Kentucky, and West Virginia, Monday Night Raw Live Coverage Note, More

WWE is hitting the road this 4th of July Weekend here in the US to put on shows in Kentucky and West Virginia, as well as shows in Tokyo, Japan.  If you’re heading to any of these live events, or any professional wrestling live event, and want to share your thoughts and opinions on the experience, hit me up at bwentz@ring-rap.com.  From simple results to detailed play by play, all submissions are welcome.

A note on our Monday Night Raw Coverage first.  We will NOT be covering Monday Night Raw live as it happens this week due to the 4th of July Holiday.  Look for an afterthoughts style piece sometime Tuesday, as well as audio from Drew Koscelek in his Around the Ring segment.

WWE will be putting on shows as follows:

Tokyo, Japan on Friday, July 1 at Ryogoku Kokugikan.  Advertised is Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Chris Jericho, Charlotte vs. Natalya for the WWE Women’s Championship, Asuka vs. Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship, Baron Corbin vs. Titus O’Neil, Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel, John Cena vs. AJ Styles, and New Day vs. The Vaudevillains vs. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Huntington, WV at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, Sunday, July 3.  Rusev, Sheamus, The Dudley Boyz, Big Show, Paige, Sasha Banks, Enzo Amore and Big Cass, Kalisto, The Miz, Cesaro, and Kane are all among the advertised talent.
