Lesnar vs. Hunt Bumped from UFC 200 Main Event, Replaced by Meisha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes

Yesterday, it was announced that Brock Lensar vs. Mark Hunt would be the main event of UFC 200.  Today, UFC President Dana White changed his mind, and announced that Meisha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes would take that spot instead.

“Miesha is the woman who beat the woman who beat the woman,” White said to FOX Sports. “She’s the champ.  What she accomplished a few fights ago, you can’t disrespect that. She should be the main event. She deserves that.”

Of course, with so many changes in the past few days, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if something new develops in the next 24 hours.
