Report: Former WWE Announcer, Head of Digital Media Let Go

In a report published on, it appears that Joey Styles (real name Joseph Bonsignore) has apparently been let go from the company.

Styles, who is most well known for his role in the ECW promotion as their voice, served in an announcer’s capacity with WWE from 2005 to 2008.  Styles transitioned away from commentary to a website based position in the company before eventually being promoted to Vice President of Digital Media Content.

Styles recently gave a Facebook Q and A which was called a “shoot interview” where he gave some very straight opinions on Roman Reigns, the new Universal Championship, and three-man commentary booths.  The video has since been pulled from WWE’s social media.
