There have been a lot of rumors getting traction regarding Paige and her status with WWE, including and up to Paige retaining a lawyer and working toward leaving the company.
On Wednesday, Paige issued a statement on her status via Twitter. In the statement (shown below), Paige denied the rumors that she was going to leave the company. “Let me begin by saying that the rumors that I’m leaving the WWE are completely false,” she wrote. She noted that she is looking forward to returning to the company once her injuries are healed.
She also addressed the suspension she is currently serving for violating the WWE Wellness Policy. She noted that she respected the policy but was disappointed with the suspension. She went on to explain that the reason for her suspension was procedural, noting that she had arranged a time where she ended up not being present to take the test. She said that she drove to take it, but the test was not performed in time. That timing issue led to the suspension.
Bill Says: Paige’s suspension is over this weekend, but it seems we won’t be seeing her immediately as she noted she is still dealing with injuries that she possibly hadn’t been cleared for yet.
