Ring of Honor Television Taping *SPOILERS* for 10/1/2016 – Shows Taped After All Star Extravaganza

The following are SPOILERS for Ring of Honor television tapings that took place on October 1 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA.  If you do not want future television shows spoiled, DO NOT READ ON!!  You’ve been warned.  Results are courtesy  If you were there and have more information to contribute, hit us up at the email address above.

Episode #1:

  • Bullet Club opened with a promo, hyping that they had the World Championship and the Tag Championship, and would add the Six-Man and TV championships to hold all the gold.
  • War Machine def. Keith Lee and Shane Taylor.  A wild brawl that turned into a good match.  Lee took the pin after a destroyer from Rowe, then Taylor and Lee beat War Machine down with chairs.
  • The Cabinet (Kenny King, Rhett Titus, and Caprice Coleman) def. Jason Kincaid, Leon St. Giovanni, and Shahim Ali in a ROH Six-Man Tag Championship Tournament match
  • Jay Lethal def. Silas Young.  Adam Cole was on commentary, and Kyle O’Reilly came out to keep him from getting involved.  O’Reilly spiked Cole with a brainbuster, then Young escaped with the title and held it up.

Episode #2:

  • Colt Cabana and Dalton Castle (w/The Boys) def. The Tempura Boyz (Sho Tanaka and Yohei Komatsu).  Castle scored the win with his finish, but the two young lions looked good and got fanned by the Boys afterward.
  • The Briscoes came out for a promo, getting a minor confrontation with Colt and Castle.  The Briscoes said they had wins over The Young Bucks and Cabana and Castle, so whoever the tag champs are come Final Battle will lose to the Briscoes.
  • Kyle O’Reilly def. Jonathan Gresham.  Hangman Page ran out after the finish to attack him, which brought out Adam Cole and Bobby Fish to even the sides.
  • BJ Whitmer and Punisher Damien Martinez def. Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara.  The heels beat the smaller guys down until Steve Corino hit the ring for the save.  Whitmer offered the spike to Corino, but he decided against using it on Ferrara.
  • Naito and EVIL def. Motor City Machine Guns.

Episode #3 :

  • Donovan Dijak (w/Prince Nana) def. an enhancement talent..  Nana threatened that Dijak not lose again like he did at All Star Extravaganza
  • The Briscoes vs. The Addiction was supposed to happen, but they weren’t in shape after Ladder Wars.  Kaz cut a promo, saying they might be retreating this day but they will surpass the legend of the Briscoes as the greatest team in ROH History.   The Briscoes wanted a match and called out the Young Bucks but got Adam Cole and Hangman Page.
  • The Briscoes def. Adam Cole and Hangman Page by disqualification.  Cole attacked with the title belt and they threatened to follow up with chairs, but rEDragon ran out for the save.
  • Jay Lethal cut a promo about having a chance to get the ROH Championship back at a show in November in London.  He said he’s more clear headed and no longer hates Cole, and even enjoys his shaved head.  He said without distractions he will become a two time ROH Champion.
  • ACH, Kushida and Jay White def. The Cabinet to advance to the final of the ROH Six-Man Championship tournament

Episode 4:

  • Michael Elgin def. Toru Yano.  Elgin won with his powerbomb.
  • Dragon Lee def. Bobby Fish in a Proving Ground match.  Lee earned a future ROH Television Championship match in the process.
  • The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) def. The Bullet Club (Adam Cole and the Young Bucks) to advance in the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship tournament.
