It’s Official: WWE Announces Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg for Survivor Series 2016

Over the past several weeks, WWE has teased the possibility of a match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg.  We saw the “triumphant return” of Goldberg on last week’s WWE Raw broadcast, and he felt he still had one more ass-kicking in him.  Lesnar then answered back on last night’s edition of Raw.

On November 20, Goldberg will be given the chance to show just that.  On their Twitter account, as shown below, WWE made it official that Brock Lesnar will face Goldberg at the Survivor Series pay per view.  That event will take place on November 20 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada and air live on WWE Network and pay per view outlets.

Bill Says:  Not really a surprise that the match has been announced, but more or less a confirmation.  Lots of rumors were swirling that this match would happen at Survivor Series and with the bookings of the two men leading into the event, it pretty much tipped their hand.  This should sell tickets, at least, and probably generate some media for WWE.
