WWE Smackdown Live *SPOILERS* for 11/8/2016 – In Progress Results from Glasgow, Scotland

WWE is overseas this week for Smackdown, and they will be taping Smackdown at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, for airing tonight at 8pm Eastern.  Drew will have a full coverage report tomorrow due to other commitments, but we also have spoilers available below.  As always, if you are attending the event and wish to contribute, feel free to email me at If you do not wish to know the results of the event prior to airing, do not read further.  You have been warned.   • The show opened with a promo segment between the men on the Smackdown Men’s team, consisting of AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, and Dean Ambrose.  Luke Harper and James Ellsworth were also there, along with Shane McMahon.  A six man tag main event was set up featuring Wyatt, Harper and Orton vs. Ambrose, Ellsworth, and Corbin.  Ellsworth was named Smackdown team mascot.
  • Naomi def. Natalya.  Nikki Bella was on commentary, which led to a distraction argument between Carmella and Nikki that got Natalya rolled up.
  • Backstage segment where Baron Corbin refused to tag with Ambrose and Ellsworth, so Shane booked him against Kalisto and replaced him with Kane in the six-man
  • Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto never started.  Corbin sold a knee injury after slipping on the apron.
  • They announced Baron Corbin being injured and out of the Survivor Series match
  • Becky Lynch (c) def. Alexa Bliss to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship.  Bliss had her foot on the rope while tapping out to the Disarmer.
  • They announced Brian Kendrick vs. Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Survivor Series.  If Kalisto wins, the title and the Cruiserweight division move to Smackdown.
  • Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship was booked for next week’s show.
  • Curt Hawkins def. Apollo Crews
  • Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Randy Orton def. Dean Ambrose, Kane, and James Ellsworth.  Wyatt pinned Ellsworth.
  • Shane McMahon was announced as the fifth man on Team Smackdown for Survivor Series.  Daniel Bryan asked him and Shane agreed.
