Billy Corgan and Anthem Sports and Entertainment Reach Settlement Regarding Loans to Impact Ventures

Billy Corgan took to his Twitter account to address the status of the dispute over money he had loaned to TNA and Impact Ventures in order to keep the company’s television tapings going this summer.  Corgan noted that he has signed settlement papers with Anthem Sports and Entertainment regarding the funds that he had loaned.  Anthem had been on the hook as of November 1 to reimburse Corgan an estimated $1.8 million based on the previous hearings that were held in Nashville over the matter.  The tweets are shown below.

Corgan did note that he intended to do some interviews in the coming week to add additional details to this news.  As those details emerge, we will note them to you.

Bill Says:  I wonder if “no further legal action against Anthem, TNA, or its executives” was in that paperwork?  The good news in this is that it appears Corgan has been or will very soon be reimbursed for funds invested into the company.
