Smackdown Live and 205 Live On-Site Notes for 12/6/2016 – Fans Exit Before 205 Live Starts, Tension Between Orton and Harper During Dark Match

Thank you to site reader John who forwarded these couple of on-site notes from the Smackdown Live and 205 Live at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX.  Remember, you can always send in live event notes to us at for any pro wrestling event you attend.

Once Smackdown went off the air, fans pretty much bailed in mass before 205 Live started.  One side of the arena was still fairly full, but the other was nearly empty aside from a few folks here and there.  As far as the 205 Live show, fans really liked Cedric Alexander but had no idea who Noam Dar was.  They really didn’t get much reaction for their match (happened to be the first one on the show) aside from when they’d hit high spots or do chops.  The chops got the normal Ric Flair “Wooooo!”

There was a dark main event after 205 Live, featuring Dolph Ziggler and American Alpha against Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper.  Ziggler and Alpha went over when Jordan pinned Harper.  After the match, Orton and Harper teased tension between them, and Orton tried hitting the RKO on him.  Harper blocked the move, then the Wyatts joked and made it seem like they were just messing around and there wasn’t any tension.  They then posed at the corners to end the show.
