Corey Graves Announces Departure from NXT Commentary, Nigel McGuinness to Replace

In a very touching moment during the NXT Takeover: San Antonio preshow, longtime NXT commentator Corey Graves announced he will no longer be a part of the NXT show beginning this Wednesday.

His replacement is Nigel McGuiness, who joined the WWE Commentary Team in December, and made his debut at the United Kingdom Championship Tournament.  Nigel, who was also part of the preshow, felt he was a good choice to take the spot having in-ring experience with many of the current NXT stars.

Graves joined the WWE Raw commentary team on July 19th, 2016, when he was drafted to the Raw brand during the Raw/Smackdown draft.  He has been a weekly presence on the show since, and will continue to fill the role.

If any further news comes out of this story, we will fill you in.
